The Shawshank Redemption was released in 1994. That's an entire decade before Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook. Yet here we are in 2022 and the movie has an official verified page on the platform. Cool, right? Until you realize that they changed their handle to "The Shaw" and they regularly post the horniest material on main.
Legitimately hilarious that the official Shawshank Redemption Facebook page with 5 million followers has inexplicably changed its name to “The Shaw” and now exclusively shares horny content on main. pic.twitter.com/TqzsVPQY9X

For a critically acclaimed movie where the plot revolves around a wrongfully convicted prisoner and his experiences behind bars, this kind of content hardly seems to fit their audience.
Okay, so that's a piece about a fitness model. Prisoners enjoy working out, I suppose.
Welp.
They're not even trying to hide it at this point.
I wonder if Morgan Freeman approves of this stuff?
Wait, there's more...
Just out of curiosity we decided to take a look at their most recent Facebook story. At least there, they would have to be posting either a still from the movie, a behind the scenes shot, a quote, anything.
You can't make this stuff up. We'll be pouring one out tonight for Andy and Red. And please, nobody show this to Tim Robbins. Definitely don't go and tag him on every social media page. Thanks.
